Diego Saldívar is a 25 year old Mexican youth who graduated with a B.A. in Animation and Digital Arts from Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2014.
He specializes in Computer Animation and Game Design. He’s also a polyglot, an opera singer and an Art History nerd. He considers himself a man of great contrasts and a bastion of irony.
He was first touched by the floating world when he joined Second Life’s RPG community where he roleplayed with geisha, kabukimono, samurai and oiran. When he joined a kabuki troupe, he chose the stage name Ryoichirou Ichikawa to be identified as an Edo artisan. He currently offers entertainment and furnishing services in Second Life under the label Ichikawa Atelier.
He was inspired to create horror stories from Edo Japan early in his education, which seems to be a recurring theme in his assignments which he developed single-handedly.
He now starts a new chapter in his career with Saisho No Kaidan.
